The University at Albany congratulates more than 4,000 students who were named to the Fall 2017 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List earned at least a 3.5 GPA.
The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the fall semester 2017. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

New students who achieve a GPA within the top 10 percent of students in their academic school after completing two full semesters at the college are invited to accept membership into the society.
A sports talk show on student-run Ithaca College Television (ICTV) has won a prestigious College Television Award from the Television Academy Foundation. "Hold That Thought" took first place in the unscripted series category. Producers Jenna Harner, Jonah Restuccio and Amy Stiefel, and ICTV Sports Director Mike Kaminskas, each received awards for their work on the show.
Western New England University recently hosted the 70th Annual Eastern Colleges Science Conference. This was the largest Eastern Colleges Science Conference in history, with over 350 attendees from 23 colleges giving over 50 presentations and exhibiting more than 130 research posters.

Students and faculty from SUNY Potsdam's Department of Mathematics recently journeyed to Mexico for an intensive Winterim travel course delving into the origins of math. Led by Dr. Cheryl Miller and Dr. Blair Madore, 11 students studied ancient mathematics and learned about Mexican culture while taking part in hands-on activities and field trips, from Jan. 2 to Jan. 15.
The Nazareth College Department of Art has announced the winners of its Undergraduate Awards for the 2013-2014 academic year. The awards are given in conjunction with the department's annual Undergraduate Student Art Show, which is on display in the Arts Center Gallery March 28-April 18, 2014.
